What to expect when you come in for an appointment!

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 Pandemic and are constantly updating our safety measures to account for any regulatory changes given to us by the CDC, the American Dental Association and the State of Massachusetts.

We are taking extensive precautions to make certain the safety of all who visit us at Medfield Dental, including: 

Prior to coming in for your upcoming appointment, we require all patients to fill out a COVID-19 pre-screening form- if it is not received at the time of your visit, your appointment will be rescheduled for the safety of all other patients and staff.  If you have/had any symptoms of COVID-19 or have traveled to a non-low risk state within the last 14 days- you are required to make that information known on your pre-screening form and you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. 

Please call the office prior to entering the building at 508-359-6900. This will ensure that you are the only patient in the waiting room during your check-in and check-out experience.

Upon entering the building, all patients will have their temperatures taken and recorded. We ask that all patients wear a face covering while inside the building unless they have been asked to remove it by their treating provider. 

For patients who can spit successfully, a pre-procedural oral rinse will be administered prior to any treatment being completed. 

For parents of adolescent patients, we ask that you either go back to the operatory with your child or wait in the car and we can call you at the time of their exam. Please remember when scheduling multiple children that you will need to make accommodations for your children while they are waiting for their turn to be seen as the waiting room is closed.

The front desk area is equipped with hand sanitizer for patient use and a plexiglass shield. Please refrain from stepping beyond the pink line on the floor in the lobby to ensure proper social distancing between patients and front office staff. We also have completely touch-free check-in forms that can be completed and signed on a cell phone. 

We are enforcing strict social distancing procedures by closing our waiting room to only ONE patient family at a time. All touch surfaces such as door handles, counters, chairs and restrooms are cleaned with a medical grade cleaning solution frequently.

Every room in the office is equipped with its own HEPA air-filtration system to aid in patient safety. All staff members are equipped with the necessary PPE, including- N-95 Masks, Face Shields, Gloves, Aprons & Gowns. All operatories are cleaned from top to bottom between each patient.
