We submit claims as a courtesy to our patients. Verification of benefits and eligibility is the patients responsibility.

What is dental insurance?
Dental Insurance is a complicated subject and most of the time does not cover the complete cost of any service.
With an in-network policy, you are eligible for contractual discounts which would lesson your out of pocket cost but you may still have copays. If you receive a bill from us, please contact your insurance with any questions regarding coverage.
If you have an out-of-network policy, you will most likely have out of pocket expenses for nearly every procedure.
What is a pre-estimate?
A pre-estimate or pre-determination is a way to get your estimated out of pocket cost prior to having a service done. MOST insurance policies will tell you what they will pay vs. what your out of pocket expense will be, however not all do.
This is an ESTIMATE and is not a guarantee of payment. We cannot be 100% certain of your copay until the claim comes back paid by the insurer. We submit pre-estimates at the request of our patients, we do not do so automatically. Please inquire if you would like to have a pre-estimate sent for your upcoming service.
